Service dogs from Canine Companions provide greater independence, joy and confidence to people with disabilities every day. Since 1975, we’ve been providing expertly trained service dogs and a lifetime of follow-up services to people with disabilities – completely free of charge.

However, with 64 million people in the U.S. living with a disability, there are many children, adults and veterans waiting to be matched with our service dogs.

Your gift helps transform lives and make a life-changing impact.

Give now to make every day Independence Day.

ALL donations are DOUBLED, dollar for dollar, up to $100,000!

While serving in the U.S. Army, Cpl. David Medina was wounded in combat, leaving him with life-altering injuries, including hearing loss and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Canine Companions Service Dog Kellen has transformed David’s ability to connect with the world around him, as he’s specifically trained to mitigate symptoms of PTSD, with tasks like anxiety interruption and creating a buffer in crowds.

Give today and your gift is DOUBLED!

Because of their partnership, David can focus his energy on activities he wants to do, instead of worrying about what he can’t do. He’s able to dedicate himself to making meaningful memories with his family and taking up kayaking again –all thanks to Kellen.

Help make every day Independence Day for people with disabilities.

Every gift is automatically doubled, up to $100,000.
